Andy Georgelakos, principal, joined KLNB in 1985 and now is the Managing Partner of KLNB, LLC which includes the 5 offices of NAI KLNB and KLNB Retail. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland, College Park and a Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore. Mr. Georgelakos was the recipient of the 1995 Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors’ “Transaction of the Year Award.” Andy was recognized as one of the top 5 real estate brokers in the Washington Metropolitan area by the Corridor Business Journal and received the “Heavy Hitters Award” by the Baltimore Business Journal. He was also the recipient of the 2004 Washington Business Journal’s “Suburban Transaction of the Year Award” for the sale of the 540,000 SF WorldCom Headquarters. Andy also served on the Advisory Committee of the Johns Hopkins Institute of Policy Studies on Logistics and the Economy and serves on the NAI National Leadership Board .

Selected Career Highlights

• Represented WorldCom in the disposition of two office buildings totaling 541,000 SF in Arlington, Virginia and acted as the advisor to the trustee for bankruptcy in the leasing of the 541,000 SF to TSA
• Represented the Institutional seller of a 926,670 SF warehouse portfolio in Howard County, Maryland
• Represented the Institutional seller of 5 1-story office buildings in Herndon, Virginia
• Represented Honeywell in the disposition of a 150,000 SF wafer fabrication and R&D building in Columbia, Maryland
• Sold over 350 acres of R&D Flex land in Northern Virginia in the Dulles Airport area
• Represented Wal-Mart in the sale of a 126,000 square foot building in Sterling, Virginia
• Representing Wal-Mart in 300,000 square feet of sub lease space in Baltimore
• Leased 165,000 square feet to AT&T at Dulles Airport
• Coordinated three state site selection search and build to suit RFP for McCormick Spice Company’s 370,000 square foot distribution facility in Riverside, Maryland
• Represented McCormick in the sale of three buildings totaling 250,000 SF for consolidation of operations
• Represented the Institutional seller of a 103,000 SF office building in Chantilly, Virginia
• Landlord leasing rep for 400,000 SF of office portfolio in Washington, D.C.
